Asia is one of those destination that provides so many incredible experiences in one place. Today, I want to share my favourite things to do in Bali!

First of all, I would recommend to skip Kuta, go straight to Ubud for a couple of days, explore the surroundings and head to the islands like Nusa Penida, Lombok and Gili! As Bali offers something for everybody, you can tailor your day schedules around your preferences and interests.

You should consider:

1. Visit traditional Bali Markets

Ubud markets are the best markets! The traditional market have variety of products, colours and excitement. It is the place where you can find some traditional sweets, local fruits to start the day and many little gifts for your families.

2. Rice Terrace Walks

Bali has many stunning rice fields and many spectacular walks where you can enoy the true nature and its beauty any time of the day. The Campuhan Ridge Walk is a an amazing rice field trek that you can easily organise with your accommodation hosts. It is not as touristy and Tegalalang Rice Terrace, which is great if you want to avoid crowds and just enjoy yourself.

3. Go chasing waterfalls!

The Tegenungan Waterfall is on the top of my list! It is well knows by the tourists as you can swim in the waterfall! You can actually swim! (I know you are probably thinking ''Say whaaaaat! That's unreal''. But it is! And you have to try it because swimming takes on a new side when you are in a waterfall. There are many other waterfalls close to Ubud, more quieter and less touristy. The options are there, just get on your bike and drive!

4. Animal lover - Monkey Forest is just for you!

Feed them bananas and take pictures, but be careful and take care of your belongings! Monkey forest is one of the most visited place in Ubud due to the incredible experience to visit monkeys' home. The forest itself is super mystical, with many statues and temples. The monkeys just add excitement and joy. However, thet can get aggressive - so no teasing. Although, the forest itself has guides monitoring the monkeys, you have to be responsible and sensible yourself. Overall, monkey forest is worth a visit!

5. Island hopping!

The best part in Bali is island hopping! Visit Lombok, Gili T, Nusa Penida and many more amazing island by hopping on a ferry and spending maximum to hours in the sea! It is cheap, it is easy and enjoyable, and it is absolutely worth seeing different sunset every night!

If you want to hear more advises and recommendations, just drop me a message!

Love, S.
